I had the honour of selecting a matching set of designs that Sam created for her portfolio, each piece took about 8-9 hours to compete and I cherish these tattoos every day. Each session was competed in a single day, while to some people that would seem like a long time. The atmosphere that Sam created within the tattooing process was something I really appreciated, it also made the time go by where I wasn’t even thinking about how long we’d been there. Conversations were easy and enjoyable, we spoke about more then face value things something I value as it makes you feel more connected to the artist who is creating a permanent change to your body. There were moments where we could both just enjoy a comfortable silence, and just appreciate the art that was being created. Sam also regularly checked in with me on if I needed a break, to show me how the tattoo was coming along and also just explain where we were in the process. All things that created an environment that made it easier to enjoy the whole process, and to know you’re in the chair of someone who is a professional but also doesn’t just view you as a pay check but as someone who is taking part in the process with you. I cannot recommend Sam enough to people when they ask about my tattoos, She is an artist I would recommend you check out her portfolio, because the designs I got brought together so many things I enjoy, yet never would have had the creative mind set to bring together into one piece.
